The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica debuts a redesigned front fascia with vertical LED headlamps and an illuminated wing badge on Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims. New headlamp projectors deliver 20% better low-beam performance than the previous generation. This page covers every trim, spec, and new feature, with current inventory available at Tuscaloosa CDJR.

What's New for 2027

The biggest visual change on the 2027 Pacifica is the front fascia redesign applied to Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims. Vertical LED headlamps flank a new illuminated grille that features a signature "piano key" lighting accent at each corner. An illuminated version of the redesigned Chrysler wing badge anchors the grille center, and on Limited and Pinnacle trims the vehicle runs a welcome animation when unlocked, with the center lamp, badge, and piano-key accents illuminating in sequence. New projector headlamps improve high-beam performance by 25% over the prior generation.

2027 Chrysler Pacifica press release

Additional changes for 2027 include:

  • A new Olive Green exterior paint, with Ember, Glass Gray, and Steel Blue as late-availability options
  • Eight wheel designs spanning 17, 18, and 20-inch sizes, including new Foreshadow and Machined finishes
  • A new adjustable-height power liftgate, standard on every trim, that lets owners set the maximum opening height to clear garage ceilings or parking deck clearances
  • The Uconnect Theater Group and Family Tech Group are now sold separately, so families can choose rear-seat entertainment or cabin tech without bundling both
  • An enhanced Safety Sphere Package that adds turn signal-activated Blind-spot View and ParkSense-based camera activation
  • A limited-run America250 special edition, offered on the Select trim in Red Hot, Bright White, and Hydro Blue, capped at 2,100 units for U.S. retail customers, with patriotic exterior decals, Ruby Red interior stitching, and American flag seat embossing

The LX trim is new to the Pacifica nameplate for 2027. Formerly sold as the Voyager, the LX retains a familiar exterior design and delivers heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and power-sliding doors at an entry-level price point.

Trim Lineup

The 2027 Pacifica spans four trims. Each tier adds meaningful features rather than just cosmetic upgrades.

2027 Chrysler Pacifica LX

LX

LX is the new entry point, replacing the Voyager name. It comes standard with power-sliding doors, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, three-zone automatic climate control, an 8-way power driver seat, the full standard safety suite, and a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is FWD only.

2027 Chrysler Pacifica Select

Select

Select adds auto-dimming rearview mirror, driver seat memory, grocery bag hooks, rear reading lamps, universal garage door opener, and auto high-beam headlamp control. AWD is available on Select, and it can be configured for up to eight passengers (FWD only for the 8-passenger layout). The optional Family Tech Group on Select bundles Uconnect 5 NAV, Alpine 13-speaker audio, FamCAM interior camera, an 8-way power front passenger seat, 115-volt outlet, and active noise cancellation. The optional S Appearance Package adds blacked-out exterior accents and "S"-logo seats.

2027 Chrysler Pacifica Limited

Limited

Limited steps up to a panoramic dual-pane sunroof (standard), 18-inch Machined wheels, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, laminated front side glass, hands-free power liftgate, Premium Nappa leather seating, footwell lighting, illuminated map pockets, and rear ambient lighting. The Harman Kardon 19-speaker audio system is available through the Family Tech Group. The Safety Sphere Package is available on Limited. AWD is available.

2027 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle

Pinnacle

Pinnacle is the top trim and receives the exclusive Blue Agave Nappa leather interior with Sol Stopper copper accent stitching and Tungsten Patina non-metallic piping. It adds standard third-row power-folding Stow 'n Go seating, removable second-row captain's chairs, the Integrated Ultra Console, hands-free power-sliding doors, Harman Kardon 19-speaker audio, 20-inch Machined wheels, premium third-row sunshades, and the Safety Sphere Package standard. The Theater Group (Amazon Fire TV, 10.1-inch HD seatback touchscreens, Blu-ray/DVD) is available exclusively on Pinnacle. AWD is available.

Performance & Powertrain

3.6-liter Pentastar V-6

Every 2027 Pacifica is powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 paired with the segment-exclusive TorqueFlite 9-speed automatic transmission. Output is 287 hp at 6,400 rpm and 262 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. Engine stop-start technology is standard across the lineup.

FWD models return EPA ratings of 19 city / 28 highway / 22 combined mpg. AWD models are rated 17 city / 25 highway / 20 combined mpg.

AWD and Towing

The intelligent AWD system can send up to 100% of available torque to the rear wheels or to the wheels with the most grip, and it fully disconnects the rear drive module when AWD is not needed to reduce drag. AWD models also receive a rear stabilizer bar and additional ground clearance (5.4 inches vs. 5.1 inches on FWD). With the available Trailer Tow Group, the Pacifica tows up to 3,600 lbs, the best-in-class figure for the minivan segment.

Interior, Comfort & Cargo

The Pacifica seats seven passengers across all trims, with available eight-passenger seating on the Select trim (FWD only). The cabin is 204.3 inches long overall, with 41.1 inches of front-row legroom and 39.0 inches in the second row.

The signature Stow 'n Go system folds both second- and third-row seats into the floor, creating a flat cargo surface. Maximum cargo volume reaches 140.5 cu ft with all seats folded. With only the third row in use, cargo space behind it measures 32.3 cu ft.

The Pacifica is the only minivan to offer available AWD in combination with second- and third-row Stow 'n Go seating, a combination available on Select and Limited. Pinnacle retains third-row Stow 'n Go power-folding seats but uses removable captain's chairs in the second row to accommodate the Ultra Console.

Noise management is handled through a multi-layer approach: standard Active Noise Cancellation across all trims, an acoustic laminated windshield, triple door seals, and aerodynamically sculpted body panels refined in a wind tunnel.

The Pinnacle interior adds Copper Alloy HVAC bezels, premium floor mats, upgraded soft-touch materials throughout, and the Ultra Console with dual-level storage and a large pass-through for bags or tablets.

Technology & Infotainment

All trims run a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen. LX and Select (without the Family Tech Group) use Uconnect 5 without navigation. Select with the Family Tech Group, Limited, and Pinnacle all receive Uconnect 5 NAV, which adds integrated navigation, SiriusXM Traffic, SiriusXM Travel Link, and maps delivered over the air.

Standard on every trim: wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L with Pandora, Amazon Alexa compatibility, and firmware over-the-air updates.

The newly adjustable-height power liftgate is standard on all four trims, a new-for-2027 feature with no equivalent in the prior lineup.

Audio options scale by trim: six speakers on LX and base Select, Alpine 13-speaker system via the Family Tech Group on Select, and Harman Kardon 19-speaker system (with 10-inch subwoofer) via the Family Tech Group on Limited or standard on Pinnacle.

The Theater Group, now sold separately from the Family Tech Group, is available on Pinnacle only and includes Amazon Fire TV built-in, dual 10.1-inch HD seatback touchscreens, Blu-ray/DVD, and a video remote control.

The Family Tech Group on Select also includes the FamCAM interior camera, which gives a split-screen HD view of all rear-seat passengers with a zoom-to-seat function.

2027 Chrysler Pacifica for families

Who It's For and How It Compares to the Prior Year

The 2027 Pacifica is the right choice for families who want the flexibility of Stow 'n Go seating without giving up available AWD. No other minivan on the market combines those two features.

Buyers stepping up from a 2026 model will notice the most dramatic changes on the exterior: the illuminated wing badge and piano-key grille signature are impossible to miss, and the new adjustable-height liftgate solves a real-world frustration that prior owners dealt with in low-clearance garages. Inside, the decoupled Family Tech Group and Theater Group mean buyers no longer have to pay for rear entertainment to get FamCAM, navigation, or upgraded audio.

The new LX trim gives Tuscaloosa-area families an entry point with more standard equipment than the Voyager it replaces, including heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The Pinnacle buyer gets a cabin that has moved meaningfully upmarket with the Blue Agave interior and Copper Alloy accents.

Families in Tuscaloosa looking for a minivan that handles rain, cold, or the occasional dirt road can add AWD on Select, Limited, or Pinnacle without losing the Stow 'n Go flexibility they rely on.
